Tony playing his first show with Archetype

Tony Webster joined Archetype back in July of 2005 as their new lead vocalist. A veteran of many bands over the years, Tony's brings a lot of experience to the band as a singer and performer. Tony has been involved in every facet of the music industry such as a booking agent, promoter, and currently hosts the Metal Command show on WBWC 88.3. "I have hosted the show for the better part of 10 years now and love doing it" Tony says.

Influenced by such bands as Helloween, Vicious Rumors, Annihilator and Iron Maiden Tony is also a collector of music by many different metal bands over the years and got his start promoting the band Helloween as their Webmaster Tony states: "From 1998-2004 I ran the band's website and I learned a lot from them. Over the years they have become great friends and mentors and I am truely grateful".

When asked about why he joined Archetype: "I had put an ad that I was looking for a band online and Chris Matyus responded only 10 minutes after the ad was placed. I really liked the Dawning album and when I heard the new material, I knew this was the band for me!".

Tony is currently hosting his metal show and finishing the vocals for the upcoming album.
