1-25-2011 - Where we have been and what's been going on

Hey everyone!

I know it seems like a long time since anyone has heard from us. However, we have had a lot going on in real life and haven't been able to really perform any updates on the website or work on the release of the new record.

Quite a bit has happened over the last two years. We have finished recording and mixing the new album. Chris Matyus has started a music school called Summit Music Studios: http://www.summitmusicstudios.com where he not only teaches students but he has also built a state of the art recording studio here which will be used for recording future albums.

So the band isn't dead we're still here and the album should be out sometime this year!

Ronnie James Dio - 1942-2010

Hey Everyone,

As many of you all know, Ronnie James Dio passed away this past Sunday. We are all deeply saddened by this.

To me, Ronnie is a living legend. I think sometimes as people we take for granted at just how precious life really is and we think a living legend like Ronnie James Dio will live forever. I am still in shock that he is gone and can't believe that one of my favorite singers of all time is gone.

I was fortunate enough to meet Dio 3 times and had him on my radio show twice. From what I remember he was a very down to earth and nice person who really cared about the fans, and didn't suffer from the rock star ego that many musicians seem to have. He was a class act all the way and a true example of how a musician should be on and off stage.

Dio's music and singing has had a profound influence on me as a singer/frontman/music fan/person/radio DJ and I will truely miss him.

Ronnie James Dio will live forever through his music, and as long as we remember him.

On behalf of myself, Chris, Jamie and Keith, our sincerest condolences to his family. This is a sad week.

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to send out an update and make an announcement everyone.

We have posted two new tracks off of the upcoming album. 

Signaling the End

and

The Dark Mirror

The album was produced by Curran Murphy who many of you know from his awesome band Shatter Messiah and of course many remember him from playing in Nevermore and Annihilator.

Although we haven't officially titled the record, these are two of the songs off the album.  We will post all of the information as far as a full tracklisting, album title, album cover and release date in the near future.

We are also planning on playing out a lot more.  We are currently going to be playing a show here in Cleveland at the Breakfast Club in Lakewood Ohio:

The final mixes are starting to get finished and let's just say everything is sounding awesome! As of right now we are shopping the album to prospective record labels. More updates will come as they happen!

After the long silence we finally have some information to reveal to everyone. Over the last few months we have been hard at work recording the new album. The album is being produced by Curran Murphy at Smiley Sounds studios. Curran has worked with such bands like Nevermore and Annihilator as well as his newest band Shatter Messiah. He is truely a great guy to record with and has done an excellent job recording us.

The recordings are basically done and Curran will be starting the mix on the album in the next week or two as we just have to do some little bits here and there recordingwise. So far the production has turned out to be amazing and we will be shopping material very soon. We hope to have the album finished in the next month (Finally!). We will reveal more details on the tracklisting and album title when we confirm everything!
