Keith started playing drums at a young age.  Inspired by many great bands at the time one album truly made him look at music in a whole new way. “There was this one album that came out that year that changed the way one listened to music.” Keith Explains…” Need I say more??!! Rush-Moving Pictures and drummer NEAL PEART! “

 Inspired by Neal Peart and Rush early on, Keith learned and practiced and transcribed everything by Rush he could get his hands on.  “Later on” Keith states “ I really started to like bands like Queensryche and Dream Theater, Mike Portnoy is a great drummer and another huge influence on me!”

A year later Keith joined his first band and continued playing for many years while performing many successful shows at a young age “It was really awesome” states Keith. “We sometimes played in front of 4000-6000 people and when you perform to crowds like this at such a young age the experience sticks with you and inspires you for years to come”.

  Keith left his former band and searched for a couple years for a new group of musicians to jam with.  Bored with the current metal scene at the time in Cleveland, Keith had been searching for a band and by word of mouth tried out for Archetype and the rest is history!
